NEC-Mitsubishi debuts 40" LCD display

NEC-Mitsubishi today announced the LCD4000, a 40-inch display targeted at the information display market. It features a resolution of 1280 x 768, a contrast ratio of 600:1, brightness levels of 450 cd/m2, and offers a variety of input connections including a DVI-D connector, 15-pin mini D-sub connector, BNC VGA, composite video, component video, S-Video and NTSC connectors. The LCD4000 will be available at the end of March for US$5,799.
