X OpenOSX releases WinTel 1.0
February 28, 2003 - 11:00 EST   OpenOSX today announced the release of WinTel 1.0 (US$30), its new software for configuring and utilizing the open source Bochs software that allows x86/Pentium-based operating systems to run on Macs. It offers support for Windows 95, 98, 2K, NT 4.0 and XP, and features a customizable single-click installer with separate disk images of 10 ready-to-use, popular open source x86 operating systems pre-installed, including RedHat Linux, FreeDos and FreeBSD.  [ Email this story ]
