Logitech debuts cordless optical mouse for laptops
September 23, 2003 - 08:30 PDT   Logitech today introduced a cordless mouse designed for mobile computer users -- the Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks. This new addition to the Logitech family of cordless products connects with the PC using an ultra-slim, key-sized USB receiver. In addition, the new mouse uses Logitech's "Fast RF" Cordless technology operating at 27MHz, enabling the mouse to be used up to six feet away. Three programmable buttons, including a middle button that also serves as a scroll wheel, and the Logitech MouseWare software tool round out the feature set.
