Apple slashes DVD-R media pricing in half
January 7, 2004 - 10:37 PST   Apple has quietly cut the pricing of its 2x and 4x DVD-R media in half. The 2x DVD-R 5-pack is now priced at US$7.99 and the 4x DVD-R 5-pack is priced at $9.99. The 2x previously sold for $14.95, while the 4x retailed for $19.95. Apple's DVD-R discs offer a capacity of 4.7GB each, and are ideal for use with a SuperDrive and iDVD or DVD Studio Pro.  [ Email this story ]
