Epson releases new inkjet and all-in-one
February 11, 2004 - 13:05 PST   Epson has introduced the US$99 Stylus Photo R200, an inkjet, and the $349 Stylus Photo RX600, a photographic all-in-one device. The former, designed for home printing, sports: six individual ink cartridges; direct CD/DVD printing; USB 1.1 connectivity; resolutions up to 5760 x 1440 optimized dots per inch; text speeds up to 15 pages per minute; and photo speeds as fast as 37 seconds for a 4x6 inch photo and 78 seconds for an 8x10 inch photo. The Stylus Photo RX600, which has USB 2.0 connectivity, is designed for viewing, scanning, copying and printing photographs without a computer; it can also be used to restore old slides, negatives and traditional printed photographs.  [ Email this story ]
