Gucci jumps on iPod bandwagon
April 20, 2004 - 11:37 PDT
Gucci is now offering a designer carrying case for Apple's popular iPod digital music player. The pricey case comes in this season's Gucci colors: beige/ebony GG plus with dark brown leather trim, green/red/green web, and silver hardware. The iPod case costs US$195 -- nearly as much as an iPod. Update: CNET News.com has picked up the Gucci story and notes: "It is sold out at the Beverly Hills Gucci store, but there are a few left in New York. The San Jose store has one left, according to a representative, having sold four of the cases since they arrived a few months back."
