eDonkey now available for Mac OS X

eDonkey today announced the release of a Mac OS X version of its peer-to-peer file sharing software that allows users to trade any type of file, MP3, video, image, or software title. (Previously, Mac users had to rely on a text based command line interface.) Some of eDonkey's features include: automatically continued downloads from session to session; completely distributed and self organizing network (no central servers); multiple source downloads; network wide searches; support for other download protocols such as http and bit torrent; private messaging; simultaneous uploading and downloading of the same file; and more.
