Guy Kawasaki, managing director and chairman of Garage Technology Ventures, will provide this year's keynote address, entitled "Rules of Revolutionaries," at the Early Stage Capital Conference: Innovation Florida 2004. In his address, Kawasaki will explain the rules that make new products and services successful. Prior to co-founding Garage, Kawasaki was an Apple Fellow and the original Apple evangelist. Using examples from the personal computer industry, as well as a broad spectrum of other industries, Kawasaki will explain the 10 things that a revolutionary must do to succeed in today's business climate. The keynote will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, at the Ballroom at Church Street, located at 225 South Garland Avenue, Orlando, Florida. The conference is presented by the University of Central Florida Technology Incubator (UCFTI) and the Central Florida Innovation Corporation (CFIC) and is designed to "connects the hottest early stage technology companies with private investors, venture capitalists and financiers for an exclusive financial and business development event."
