BusinessWeek on Skype and iChat telephony
September 16, 2004 - 06:42 PDT   On August 31st Skype Technologies launched the beta version of Skype (see related article), a peer-to-peer Internet telephone application for Mac OS X. BusinessWeek's Alex Salkever has been using the software since its release and has written an article comparing it to iChat's ability to make phone calls. "Skype blows away iChat in terms of voice quality," writes Salkever.
