OWC intros 300GB Mercury Elite drives, new RoadTrip!
February 1, 2005 - 10:57 PST   Other World Computing (OWC) has expanded its line of Mercury Elite external storage solutions with the introduction of new 300GB models, priced at US$299.99 for a FireWire 400+USB 2.0 combo version, $319.99 for a FireWire 800/400-only version and $339.99 for a FireWire 800/400+USB 2.0 version. All 300GB Mercury Elite drives spin at 7200RPM and feature an 8MB data buffer. OWC has also reduced prices on all of the company's Mercury Elite 400GB external storage solutions, which now start at $429.99. In addition, OWC today announced a new 87.9 FM version of the RoadTrip!
