TiVo exec: TivoToGo Mac support unlikely
April 15, 2005 - 00:09 PDT
While giving a talk at the University of Pennsylvania this week, TiVo CFO David Courtney said that the company has no immediate plans to offer a version of its TiVoToGo software for Mac OS X. "We haven't committed to any plans [for integration] to it because of the cost," Courtney said. He added that being able to watch recorded shows on Macs using TiVo seems unlikely "unless we find a way to record it under the current platform, and I don't think that will happen in the next few years."
