Apple's QuickTime 7 available for Panther
April 29, 2005 - 08:37 PDT   Apple has released QuickTime 7 for Mac OS X 10.3.x Panther via its Software Update utility. New features in version 7 include: H.264 video support, Live player resize, zero-configuration streaming, surround sound, new and improved playback controls, an all-new content guide, and more. Apple also notes: "Installation of QuickTime 7 will disable the QuickTime Pro functionality in prior versions of QuickTime.
