IGG Soft announces iBank 2
January 4, 2006 - 10:19 PST
IGG Soft today announced iBank 2, a new and completely rewritten version of its financial management software for Mac OS X. New features allow users to manage budgets and investment portfolios, reconcile accounts with bank statements, work with multiple currencies, and import transactions from QIF, OFX, and CSV files. The application also supports AppleScript and Automator, and features a redesigned aqua-interface. Smart import rules, new in iBank 2, allow users to download bank transactions without bank-defined characters. Instead, iBank 2 recognizes common transactions and applies user-defined payees, transaction types, and budget categories to each. iBank 2 is priced at US$39.99 ($19.99 upgrade).
