No flat-panel iMac at Macworld Expo next week
July 11 - 14:55 ET: Contrary to several published rumors, next week's Macworld Expo in New York City will not see the debut of a flat-panel iMac, MacMinute sources have confirmed. The much-speculated revision to Apple's iMac is simply not ready for release. Instead, sources report that the company will be rolling out iMacs with faster processors in their present form factor. A slowing economy and lackluster sales begs the question whether a simple speed-bump will be enough to appease consumers and analysts alike until the company rolls out a brand new system.
